How many hours of Post Licensing education are required of Sales Associates in their initial license period.
45 Hours. Sales associates must complete the 45 Hour post license course and successfully pass the school exam with a grade of 75% or higher. Otherwise a licensee who does not complete this requirment will have their license become null and void by operation of law. If the former licensee wishes to continue in the real estate business, they must requalify for licensure by applying again to the DBPR, complete the pre-license course and pass the state exam again. It is advised that new licensees complete the 45 Hr post license class as soon as possible AFTER they have passed the state exam.
